A palm-sized, portable leather strop. It can be used to quickly restore the sharpness of a knife that has become dull after being used outdoors. Apply a compound to the flesh-colored leather surface beforehand, then slide the knife across it in a motion similar to spreading butter on bread to create an evenly sharp blade.
Important points and precautions when using the service
- Use the resin plate in the pocket as a pad when stropping.
-Instead of a plastic plate, it is also possible to store portable whetstones such as Fällkniven's CC4 or DC4.
- If you store the leather strops with the logo facing outwards, the compound-coated surfaces will not come into contact with each other, which is convenient.
- A strop can be used to create a very sharp edge on knives other than those with a convex grind edge by simply applying it to them as a finishing touch.
- It is useful to write the grain size of the compound you have applied on the surface of the leather strop using a permanent marker or similar.
