Collection: Lightload Towels

[Lightload Towels]

Founder George Wideload Wheeler has been an avid long-distance hiker for many years, having completed the ATC in 1998. That experience was the source of the idea for Lightload Towels, and the brand was born.

Lightload Towels Lightload towels are made from environmentally friendly lyocell, derived from connectable wood and plant scraps. They are breathable, antibacterial, hypoallergenic, and soft and spongy, making them ideal for sensitive skin. They have an absorbency rate of more than 9.5 times their weight, making them ideal for everyday use, as a bandage for first aid, as a potholder when you sweat, as a fire starter, and more. They are also recommended for hiking, trail running, hot springs, and as disaster preparedness supplies. Lightload original towels are not recommended to be washed in a washing machine, but extra strength towels can be washed in a washing machine. However, do not use fabric softener.
