The fabric is woven on a legendary shuttle loom, and the strength is only possible with a special loom! The only rare loom in the world faithfully reproduces the fabric that was once made to transport coal in American coal mines. Compared to No. 4 canvas, the original fabric is stronger, so it has the strength to maintain its shape without using resin. Alberton is the only company that can weave this standard fabric to the specifications of the time. This is because Alberton customized a new loom from 100 years ago and brought it back to life in modern times. Blue colored thread is woven near the ear of the fabric. This is specified by ASTM standard D230-44, and was intended to mark the place where the sewing machine was inserted when sewing, but since industrial DUCK began to be used for purposes other than its original purpose, many old products have this BLUE LINE randomly included, and now it seems to be a sign of vintage, but Alberton faithfully reproduces this as well.
