We got a pair of deadstock socks that were popular in the United States in the 1930s, and when we started analyzing them with a Japanese sock factory, we found that the socks were filled with a lot of lost technology. They could not be made with today's popular manufacturing methods. Together with the sock craftsmen, we wanted to make socks filled with this lost technology, and we took on the challenge of reproducing them to the limit of what could be reproduced with modern technology, focusing on the count, dyeing, twisting, and knitting, and we were able to create them. Vintage cotton socks. We deliberately only used brown, which was a standard color for Sock Monkey at the time. At the time, it was very popular to make monkey dolls out of worn-out socks.
