★Bush Craft Inc.★
In modern times, it is an outdoor style that allows you to become more one with nature. If you separate the words, you get "bush" and "craft," but when you combine them, the meaning changes to "bushcraft" = wisdom for life. Long before we were born, our ancestors lived in harmony with nature. They had the wisdom to live with the forest. Bushcraft is an "old and new style" that reminds us of that. Bushcraft techniques start with knifework and firemaking.Click here for a list of Bush Craft Inc products
Char cloth DIY kit Bushcraft Fire starter Bonfire Fire starter Survival Camping Outdoor BBQ Bush Craft
This is a can of canvas for making char cloth (cloth charcoal), which is extremely useful when starting a fire with a flint or flint striker. Just place the whole can over the fire and you can make 10 sheets of thick char cloth.
★What is Charcloth?★
This is traditional charcoal for kindling, and is one of the most common materials used to create fire from a weak spark such as a flint. When the spark is transferred, red heat spreads from that part. If you wrap the red-hot char cloth in a tinder such as loose hemp and blow on it or swing it around to send oxygen, the temperature will rise and it will ignite, so you can use this as a base to start a bonfire.
★How to make char cloth★
Place the can directly on the fire. Domestic gas stoves may detect the temperature and stop the fire, so we recommend using an outdoor stove or bonfire. Smoke (combustion gas) will start to come out, but continue. If there is enough heat, the smoke from the can will ignite. This is a normal phenomenon. It may look like the can is burning. The lid may be deformed by heat and open, but do not panic. Use a tree branch or something similar to close the lid. Once the combustion gas has stopped, allow it to cool naturally and then open the lid. If the cloth has turned completely black, it is ready. We recommend tearing it into small pieces when using it as a kindling.
*Please be careful not to get burned when making char cloth.
*If you open the lid without allowing the char cloth to cool sufficiently after removing it from the heat, it may catch fire (red-hot). Immediately close the lid and allow the fire to die down.★Specifications★
