FIREBOX Scout Stove
The FIREBOX Scout Stove is a basic campfire stove that is very easy to use and affordable. It can use a variety of fuel types, so you can choose freely according to your preferences and usage environment. It will be useful in a variety of situations, such as outdoor camping and mountain climbing.
One of the unique features of this stove is the two lids, one on top and one on the bottom. These lids not only serve to hold the ash, but also allow you to adjust the flame while the stove is in use, which increases the efficiency of the burner and helps save fuel.
The Firebox Scout Stove is also lightweight and easy to transport, weighing just 395g and measuring a compact 12.5cm x 11cm x 11cm, meaning it won't take up much space when you're outdoors.
The material is made of tin, which is very durable. This stainless steel stove is durable and can withstand long-term use. It is also resistant to the heat generated during combustion, so you can use it with confidence.
The Firebox Scout Stove is not only great for enjoying a bonfire outdoors, but it can also be useful in emergency situations, allowing you to cook meals and stay warm in the event of an emergency.
How to use different fuels on the Scout:
To burn Firebox Fuel Pucks, fuel tablets, or other accelerated fuels, you will need to restrict some of the airflow. Simply use one of the lids to cover the bottom row of holes. This will slow the fire and keep the fuel burning much longer, at the perfect cooking temperature. If you are burning firewood in the form of twigs or sticks, use the lid as a pedestal. This allows you to feed the sticks at an upward angle. The flame will naturally rise to the end of the sticks, allowing you to feed them as the sticks burn. The locating pins and easy-to-follow hole pattern make it convenient to use canned fuels like the Sterno, alcohol burners like the Trangia, and even gas burners for using pressurized fuels like propane and isobutane. The Scout's specially designed multi-fuel grate (optional) allows you to use solid fuel tablets, wood pellets, and even charcoal. To maintain cooking temperature, place the pot directly on the stove. The hole pattern calibration measures the exhaust flow to control the heat. If you need more heat to bring it to a boil, add the (optional) accelerator crossbar. This adds a 1/4" exhaust gap all around the stove. It supercharges the Scout, allowing it to burn Swedish fire torches, wood pellets, and even wet or poor quality wood. It also makes the Scout stove work better at high altitudes where there is less oxygen available.
