point

①After many improvements, this tent sauna, which can also be used for loyly, was jointly invented by campers and sauna lovers.

②The domestically produced wood stove for saunas, "Tanzawa," was jointly developed and manufactured with a domestic factory. It has a high heat output that is carefully designed.

3) This original tent is large enough for up to seven people, but can be easily set up by one person. Just unfold it like an umbrella and it will be set up in just 60 seconds.

Features of Iam Sauna's domestic wood stove "tanzawa"

① Overwhelmingly high firepower

Large combustion chamber, secondary combustion mechanism is a specially shaped slit in the ash tray inside the combustion chamber.

Not only does it drop the completely burned ash down, but it also creates a strong updraft from bottom to top.

② Iron is used, which is durable even after repeated use. Black baking paint improves heat dissipation.

It is made of sturdy iron material to withstand the high temperatures typical of sauna stoves and the harsh environment of water loyly.

The rust-resistant black high-temperature baked paint and "Tanzawa" metal plate. The stylish design will satisfy your desire to own it.

3. Stone guard plate is standard equipment. It stabilizes sauna stones for loyly and makes them easier to stack.

The balance between temperature and humidity is important for a comfortable sauna. Löyly, which is the process of pouring water onto sauna stones to evaporate and increase humidity, is essential in tent saunas.

A removable guard plate is standard equipment that can be installed on the top plate to make it easier to stack sauna stones. Enjoy self-loyly to your heart's content.

④A glass window through which you can see the firewood burning

You can check the burning status of the firewood through the heat-resistant glass window on the front without opening the door. You can relax and enjoy the sauna while watching the sound of the firewood burning and the flickering flames.

⑤Other designs that pay careful attention to detail

The foldable legs, chimney and other parts can be stored inside the stove, making it compact and easy to store and transport.

There are reflectors on both sides to reduce the risk of burns to the feet caused by radiant heat. It also reduces the splashing of hot water caused by the loyly.

The inside of the combustion furnace (chimney mounting port) is equipped with a spark stopper (core) to prevent sparks from flying into the tent and reduce the risk of holes being made in the tent.

After purchase, we also provide maintenance services such as repairs and repainting, as well as purchasing parts (for a fee).

"Tanzawa2" upgrade points

Increased combustion chamber volume for increased combustion power

Adopting a secondary combustion mechanism to improve combustion efficiency

Installing an intake port to increase combustion power

The diameter of the chimney mounting part has been increased from 88mm to 108mm to improve the draft effect.

The chimney is nested like a matryoshka doll, making it possible to store it more compactly.

(The nested chimney is not simply extended, but is disassembled and fitted from the bottom in the order of thickness as marked.)

Reinforcement material has been added to reduce dents in the tabletop caused by the weight of sauna stones.

Added handles on side panels for easy storage

Improved operability of door opening and closing handle

*The ceiling of the Iam Sauna tent is made of flame-retardant fabric that makes it difficult for fire to spread, but as long as you use a wood stove, there is still a chance of sparks from the chimney puncturing the tent and causing damage that can never be completely eliminated.

Please understand that this is a tent sauna that uses a wood stove.

The inside of the stove is equipped with a core to prevent sparks from flying, but we also recommend installing the optional spark arrestor to further reduce the risk.

*Please check the individual product pages for details on tents and stoves.

Precautions when using

【tent】
① Apply silicone spray to the zipper to prevent damage.
2) The zipper handle will get hot, so tie a string or cover it with tape.
3. Securely peg down the tent with ropes (to reduce the inflow of cold air through the skirt).
4. Open the air intake on the back of the tent stove and the exhaust vent on the ceiling.
(Reducing the inflow of cold air from the skirt and improving the stove's combustion efficiency)
⑤ Seal the gap between the chimney and the chimney patch on the ceiling of the tent with a commercially available campfire sheet or similar material.

[Stove]
① When using for the first time, perform a trial combustion (empty burn) for about an hour without placing sauna stones until no odor or smoke is produced.
(Because the paint has not been completely baked, there will be a smell and smoke will come from the stove surface.)
②When opening or closing the stove, such as when adding firewood, use leather campfire gloves to prevent burns.
③ Opening the stove's ash tray drawer by about 1 cm will improve combustion efficiency. *Do not open it too far.
4. Allow the sauna stones to heat for about 30 minutes to an hour before entering the sauna.
⑤ Frequent loyly will lower the temperature of the sauna stones and the room temperature. We recommend doing it every 10 minutes.
⑥If the chimney is difficult to remove after use, apply oil spray to the gap after the chimney has cooled.

<After use>
After using the main unit and chimney, remove the sauna stones, wipe off all moisture from the main unit, and store it indoors to prevent rust due to moisture.

<How to deal with rust>
For surface rust, apply natural edible oil to the rusted area and gently rub it off with fine steel wool (rubbing too hard will also remove the surrounding paint).
Make sure there is no oil left in the stove before burning it.

*Because the Tanzawa 2 is made of iron and is used for outdoor sauna activities such as loyly, rust will occur even if you maintain it carefully, but this will not affect the functionality of the stove itself. (If a hole appears in the top plate, please send it in for repairs.)

Things to be aware of when using a stove in a tent

Essentially, a wood stove is a device that uses fire to heat the surrounding area.
Improper use can cause fires and carbon monoxide poisoning, and in the worst case, can even lead to death. Here are some dangers to be aware of and countermeasures to take in order to use the appliance safely.

⚠ ⚠Danger⚠ ⚠ No. 1 "Carbon monoxide poisoning"
The most important thing to be careful of is carbon monoxide poisoning.
If your stove or chimney becomes clogged with soot, carbon monoxide can fill your tent without you realizing it.
Before setting up your chimney, always sweep the chimney all the way to the top to ensure it is clear.
Also, if the chimney height is not properly secured, no updraft will occur and smoke may backflow into the tent.
Be sure to use the chimney at a length that ensures all parts are securely connected.
Also, if the chimney comes off during strong winds, it could fall and ignite your tent, causing burns, or cause smoke to back up and fill the site. Avoid using a wood stove during strong winds.

→ Key points → Ensure adequate ventilation!!
Do not close the tent completely. Always keep the air passages (intake and exhaust vents) open to ensure ventilation.
Carbon monoxide is colorless and odorless, so it's possible to become poisoned without even realizing it.

⚠ ⚠Danger⚠ ⚠ No. 2 "Burn/Fire"
A wood stove itself gets extremely hot, so if the chimney is too close to or touching the tent fabric when you extend it outside the tent, it will catch fire.
Similarly, if there is a defect in the contact prevention equipment, a fire may break out.
When using a wood stove, the combustion chamber and chimney become very hot. Be careful not to touch them by mistake.

→ Key points → Do not place flammable items nearby!!
Flammable items, such as clothing, placed near the stove may ignite and cause a fire.
If a gas canister is left there, the heat may cause the pressure inside the can to increase, which could result in an explosion.
Do not place flammable or explosive items near the stove.
In addition, sparks emitted from the chimney can melt fire tents and tarps.
The grass underneath the stove may catch fire due to the radiant heat from the stove. It is necessary to take measures such as laying a fire sheet or non-flammable board on the ground.

< Summary of precautions and measures to take when using a wood stove >>
・Do not use in strong winds.
・Do not sleep with the stove on in the tent.
- Bring fresh air into the room and perform an intake every hour.
- Always keep the air intake vent behind the stove and the exhaust vent on the ceiling of the tent open while the stove is burning.
-Install a carbon monoxide checker in the space being used.
Don't be overconfident as it can break down or the battery can run out.
- Always keep at least 2L of water in your tent.
- Try not to place anything near the wood stove.
Always sweep the chimney before use.
・Be careful not to touch the area around the stove.
・To prevent the ground or grass from burning due to radiant heat, lay a fire sheet or non-flammable board on the ground or adjust the height of the unit.
