PRANDI German Type Hatchet 600 Traditional Ash Handle PRANDI Axe
<German Type Hatchet 600>
A hatchet with a gently curved blade reminiscent of a ginkgo leaf. The head weighs approximately 600g (there may be individual differences as it is handmade by craftsmen).
Traditional/Classic
PRANDI axes are called different names depending on the type of surface finish on the head. There are two types: "Traditional" which retains the texture of the forged blade, and "Classic" which has a polished (or plated) head.
Ash Handle
Strictly speaking, it is a tree of the Oleaceae family called white ash. It is strong and tough, so it is used for baseball bats and canoe paddles. Of course, it is tough and hard to break, so it is undoubtedly an excellent material for axe handles. *There are individual differences in the color and grain of the handle material, and some may have a different color and texture than the photo, but this does not affect the quality.
