The VAGABOND Hammock set / dark olive is the best solution for Vagabonds, with a hammock + mosquito net + carabiner + suspension system all in one, weighing only 500g. You can spend a comfortable night on your travels without worrying about insects or noise. When the weather is good, you can store the mosquito net in a storage bag at the end of the hammock and enjoy the beautiful sky while lying down. Of course, you can also remove the mosquito net and use the hammock and mosquito net separately. The hammock and mosquito net can be put into the storage bag. The storage bag is compact at 20cm x 9.5cm. Ultra-lightweight and ultra-simple.

The VAGABOND Hammock set, made using BUSHMEN's lightweight technology, is an ultra-light all-in-one set based on the ultra-lightweight hammock ULTRALIGHT - Hammock / dark olive, including a newly developed mosquito net and tree hugger.

mosquito net

The fine mesh protects travelers from the threat of mosquitoes, ticks, and small flies. To reduce weight, the mosquito net does not have a zipper opening and closing function, but has a slit about 1 meter long at the bottom, and by tightening the cord stopper, it fits tightly to the hammock to prevent mosquitoes from entering. When entering or exiting, you can easily enter or exit by loosening the cord stopper and flipping it up. You don't have to worry about insects entering by tightening the slots of the hammock and the cord stopper at the entrance and exit of the mosquito net. It fits tightly to both sides of the hammock, maximizing the effect of the mosquito net. The top of the mosquito net can be hung on the ridge line between the carabiners at both ends of the hammock. The cord stopper part is reinforced with nylon, so even if you tighten it, it will not put a strain on the mosquito net. Entering and exiting the hammock is very easy, just loosen the cord stoppers on both sides and flip up the mosquito net. Ridgeline

The included Ridgeline is also excellent, with a cord stopper that allows you to change the tension by moving the ridgeline while lying down. The unique adjustment feature on the ridgeline allows you to operate it from inside the hammock. This allows you to raise or lower the mosquito net to create the perfect amount of space.

Suspension System – Tree Hugger

The suspension system consists of two straps with sewn-in loops (tree huggers) and two ultra-light carabiners. It is intuitive to use and lightweight, which reduces stress on the tree. The straps are 2 metres long, so you can place the hammocks up to 5 metres apart on trees with a diameter of 30 cm. To adjust the tension of the hammock, simply attach the hammock's carabiners to one of the five loops on the tree huggers.

Installation Method

1. Attach the Tree Hugger to the tree.
2. Attach the hammock and ledge line to the loops on the Tree Hugger using the carabiners.
3. Take the mosquito net out of the same bag that the hammock came in and unfold it so that it covers the hammock and the Ridgeline.
4. Attach the unfolded end of the mosquito net to the carabiner and tighten the cord stopper.
Now you're ready to go. Get into the hammock and adjust the height of the mosquito net using the cord stoppers on the ridgeline.

How to use a hammock

- Adjust the ridgeline tension so that the mosquito net is at your desired height.
-Pull the cord stopper on the cuffs of the mosquito net.
・Furthermore, when used alone, the mosquito net is also effective in preventing insects from entering from the ground.

Use a mosquito net in conjunction with a tarp tent

1. Lay out the mattress, quilt, sleeping bag, tarp, etc. that you will use as the floor on the ground.
2. Place the ridge line attached to the tree hugger over your head and set up the mosquito net so that the cord stopper is at the bottom.
3. Adjust the tension of the ridge line. The height should be 60cm (the height when you kneel). *This is when you use a tarp as a roof.
4. Pass the mosquito net's cord stopper under the floor part (mattress, sleeping bag, etc.) and tie it securely.
Now you are ready to go. To enter or exit the mosquito net, simply loosen the tied cord.
