Six Moon Designs' "Six Moon" was named after the fact that it takes about six months to complete the 4,279 km Pacific Crest Trail (PCT). When brand owner Ron Moak experienced the PCT in 2000, he felt a strong need for lightweight gear, which inspired him to create innovative ultra-lightweight gear.

Brand owner Ron Moak was fascinated by the Appalachian Trail after his first backpacking experience in high school. A few years later, he set out on the 3,500km Appalachian Trail with his wife Linda in the summer of 1977. Inspired by hikers like Grandma Gatewood, Ron and Linda began making their own hiking gear and completed the PCT in 2000.
In May 2002, Six Moon Designs produced its first product, the Europa Tent. The Europa Tent met various criteria, such as being lightweight yet sturdy, easy to set up, and reasonably priced, making it a tent that is suitable for a wide range of use, including in the backcountry. Since then, the company has released a series of innovative products, including the Starlight Pack, Gatewood Cape, and Luna Solo. Ron is one of the few hikers to have achieved the Triple Crown. His extensive experience on the trails has led to the development of excellent gear for all those who enjoy the outdoors. Six Moon Designs is based in Portland, Oregon, USA.

In the mountains of Japan, after May, there are a lot of insects. I'm used to floorless shelters, but I still want to do something about mosquitoes... When I go to the mountains with my partner, I want an inner tent with a floor. This Haven NetTent is the item that answers such needs. *Trekking poles etc. are not included in the product.

This is an inner tent for the Haven Tarp, but can also be set up on its own. It is a mesh shelter for two people that can be used in conjunction with various tarps. The actual weight is 382g. When used in conjunction with a tarp of 8x10 or larger, it fits snugly inside the tarp, and is designed to be very compatible with two-pole tents used by multiple people, such as GOLITE's Shangri-La 6 and above, MSR's Twin Brothers, and Pavilion.

Entrances are provided on both sides to allow easy entry and exit for one person at a time, and four auxiliary rubber loops have been added to make it easier to stand out of the bathtub, so even first-time users can set it up quickly and enjoy a comfort that is comparable to that of mass-produced products.

It's an interesting item that will stimulate your imagination when used alone and with other gear, as well as in conjunction with the Haven Tarp.

★Haven NetTent 450g★

The Haven Net Tent is the perfect companion to the Haven Tarp. This net tent is designed for hikers looking for an ultralight double wall shelter. With a total length of 229cm, the Haven Net Tent will keep even taller hikers comfortable. The tent's apex is offset towards the entrance of the tent, so when you stand up under the apex, you'll fit snugly. When you lie down, the net won't cover your face.

Under the 112cm high peak, two adults can stand up and do their chores comfortably. Two doors give each person their own way in and out. No more jumping over each other in the dark. Once you've pitched the Haven Tarp, you can easily hang the Haven NetTent inside. If it's raining, pitch the tarp, go inside and unfold and hang the Haven NetTent for easy pitching.

Pitching it this way will also keep your Haven Net Tent dry. When packing your tent away in the rain, simply reverse the steps - the Haven Net Tent should be inside your pack to protect it from the rain, and the Haven Tarp should be in an outer pack pocket.

Storage size: 30cm x 11cm. Can be made even smaller if packed tightly.

For those who don't have trekking poles, we recommend our 116cm tent poles, which are lightweight, strong and easy to use.

Two side entries allow for easy entry and exit. The wide canopy is perfect for sitting down and cooking. Bathtub floor. The Haven Net Tent is easy to set up, whether used alone or with the Haven Tarp.
