Six Moon Designs' "Six Moon" was named after the fact that it takes about six months to complete the 4,279 km Pacific Crest Trail (PCT). When brand owner Ron Moak experienced the PCT in 2000, he felt a strong need for lightweight gear, which inspired him to create innovative ultra-lightweight gear.

Brand owner Ron Moak was fascinated by the Appalachian Trail after his first backpacking experience in high school. A few years later, he set out on the 3,500km Appalachian Trail with his wife Linda in the summer of 1977. Inspired by hikers like Grandma Gatewood, Ron and Linda began making their own hiking gear and completed the PCT in 2000.
In May 2002, Six Moon Designs produced its first product, the Europa Tent. The Europa Tent met various criteria, such as being lightweight yet sturdy, easy to set up, and reasonably priced, making it a tent that is suitable for a wide range of use, including in the backcountry. Since then, the company has released a series of innovative products, including the Starlight Pack, Gatewood Cape, and Luna Solo. Ron is one of the few hikers to have achieved the Triple Crown. His extensive experience on the trails has led to the development of excellent gear for all those who enjoy the outdoors. Six Moon Designs is based in Portland, Oregon, USA.

A two-person tent with a vaulted ceiling that you can relax in. After a tiring walk, LUNADUO provides a stress-free space for you and your partner to relax. *Trekking poles are not included in the product.

The width of the room is 137 cm and includes a mosquito net. Thanks to the arched poles, your head won't touch the wall when you change clothes inside. It's designed so that two adults can stretch their legs out comfortably. The doors on both sides can be opened to each other, so you can easily get in and out. In hot and humid seasons, you can open them fully to let in lots of fresh air. The two-pole design is wind-resistant, and the bathtub inside will stand up even in bad weather. The Lunar Duo 1100g Tent from Six Moon Designs is an attractive product that features excellent design and lightweight features. This tent has two short poles on the inside roof of the tent to ensure a spacious space. Although it is a two-person tent, three people can sleep comfortably inside the tent, and four people can sit comfortably. The material is durable 30D Silnylon for the canopy and bottom, 20D No-See-Um for the net, YKK No.3 zippers and Easton 7075 HS poles for durability and reliability.

The Lunar Duo makes no compromises when it comes to weight. Both doors and vestibules can be used as private entrances. The living space of the Lunar Duo is the largest in its class/weight. The space under the vaulted ceiling created by spacer poles on both sides provides enough space to sit and get changed without disturbing your partner.

With both vestibules of the Lunar Duo fully open, you can keep mosquitoes at bay and stay cool and comfortable with plenty of cross ventilation, or close them down and set the vestibules to different heights to find the perfect balance of protection, ventilation and views.

This ultralight shelter features doors and vestibules on both sides for individual entry and exit. With a height of 114cm, the Lunar Duo offers one of the largest living spaces of any tent in its class and weight.

The wide canopy has vertical mesh sidewalls to keep rain out of the tent when entering or exiting.

Floating canopy allows you to adjust the canopy height. Equipped with 2 hiking pole supports. 2 entrances allow each person to use their own door without bothering your partner in the middle of the night. Easy to set up in less than 5 minutes in any situation.

Storage size: 38cm x 15cm. Can be made even smaller by compressing it.

Two vestibules provide added protection and allow plenty of ventilation when closed, or open both vestibules for great ventilation and views.

Adjusting the tension is so easy that it can be done without even leaving the sleeping bag. All fastening points have retention straps.

Top vent allows for additional humidity control.

The one-piece bathtub floor improves the waterproofing of the floor, and by creating space between the tent and the ground, in combination with the top vent, it maintains better breathability.
