No tools required

Our design concept is based on ease of use, so no tools are required for assembly: it is glove friendly, easy to assemble and the unit can be assembled on-site, making it lightweight for all seasons.

Packability

Texenergy's design intent is ease of use and portability, bringing portable wind power to outdoor and emergency service prosumers. Like all T:E turbines, the IA18 can be broken down and the unit packed up and carried, taking up very little space in a vehicle, sled or backpack.

Wind speed

Wind conditions vary, so the IA18 is designed to provide power even in low wind speeds - the stronger the wind, the faster the charging, but with a minimum wind speed of 8mph to 12km/h it can provide charging for 5V, 12V, and 18V devices.

The IA18 is the largest turbine in our range, yet small enough to be comfortably carried and taken on any adventure. Originally designed to power 18V devices, it can now easily switch between 18V, 12V and 5V, making it ideal for a variety of applications and power needs.
