The designer of the Hummingbird Hammock looked around his rigging loft and used some used skydiving materials he had on hand to create a hammock. The used materials were borrowed from a parachute company and the resulting product was lighter, stronger and packs up much smaller than any other hammock on the market. Funded by a Kickstarter campaign, the successful product has grown to a fully operational base in Monument, Colorado, and continues to develop further products.

Many Ultralight tarps are made from 1.1 oz Silnylon, which stretches when wet.
This tarp is made from the recently developed 0.9oz Silpoly nylon, making it extremely light!
It is also waterproof and durable.
The tarp can also be used as a shelter without the hammock.
There are two types of tarps: Heron and Pelican.
Both tarps are dark brown in color (※The colors of the stuff sack and tarp are different.)
In bad weather, it is a good idea to use the four guyline points on both sides.

The Heron Tarp is hexagonal in shape, but the Pelican Tarp has door flaps on both sides to keep you enclosed in bad weather.

The company's lineup is focused on lightweight design, with a single hammock for one person weighing in at just 145g.
The double hammock, which allows you to put a mat inside and has plenty of space, is made of an ultra-lightweight material, weighing just 280g considering its surface area.
The separately sold tree straps required for use can also be used in conjunction with those from other manufacturers, and the actual weight is only 60g, so the smallest combination weighs just 205g!
