There was a very cold cold wave over the New Year period, so this year I went to a nearby shrine right after the New Year for my first visit of the year.

I didn't sleep much and managed to see the first sunrise of the year!

Mount Fuji was visible from the nearby riverbed, so I took a picture; Mount Fuji covered in snow was truly beautiful.

I hope this year will be a good one for everyone.
