★SAS-adopted BCB Combat Survival Kit, BCB International, Special Forces, British Army-adopted, Safety, Survival Equipment, Camping, Disaster Supplies, Outdoor★
BCB International is a long-established company that supplies survival kits to the British military. The minimum items needed to survive in harsh conditions are stored in a small box. This set is suitable for survival in conditions isolated from civilization. There are other options for dealing with temporary urban disasters. This combat survival kit is recommended for those who have a strong will to "survive at all costs."
This is the smallest of BCB's survival kits, and is limited to only the essential items. The contents of the set have been changed since 2018, and an LED light, cable ties, silicone tubing, nylon cord, and a razor have been added.
★Set contents and explanation★
*The explanation is subjective. It is really up to the customer.
"Waterproof tin case"
The case protects the contents from water and impact. It is waterproof because it is sealed with gasket and the included tape. It is also heat resistant, so it can be used as a frying pan or pot to some extent.
"Folding knife"
A liner lock folding knife. Although simple, a knife is essential for survival.
"10 sterilizing tablets for drinking water"
Use to purify water and make it drinkable. 1 tablet per litre, leave for at least 30 minutes.
"Fishing hook"
Fish hooks can be used not only for catching fish, but also as a substitute for a suture needle in an emergency. In that case, you should sterilize it with fire or boiling water before using it.
"Fishing equipment"
This is a fishing line, a weight, and a swivel. Fishing line can be used as a thin and strong thread, and is ideal for trapping small animals. It can also be used as a substitute for suturing. Boiling disinfection is required.
"whistle"
It can be used to signal distress, to scare off wild animals like bears, and as a substitute for a burglar alarm to protect against rape and robbery.
"Match"
Use it for ignition.
"Safety pin"
Simple repairs for torn clothes. Simple stitching for wounds. Removing thorns and ticks. If you have the skill, it can also be used as a lock-picking tool.
"Sewing set"
Repairing tears in clothes and tents. Removing thorns and ticks. The thread can also be used for simple binding.
"Fire Steel"
It's a hot plate for starting a fire. Please see the "Fire Starter" category for how to use it.
"Candle"
It can also be used as a fuel substitute, but it would be wasteful so we recommend using it primarily for lighting.
"pencil"
Basically, you can use it to leave a note of your presence and future plans for rescuers. Also, when you are doing crafts, it is good to draw a simple diagram on a piece of wood to mark the places to cut and shave. Just like a carpenter.
"Wire saw"
Hold both ends, hang it on a tree, and pull alternately to cut it. It is also useful as a substitute for wire for important parts of the trap (where you don't want it to break). The rings on both ends will dig into your hands if you hold them as they are, so pass a twig through them to make a handle. To cut off branches in high places, combine it with a nylon cord to extend it and throw it over the branch.
"Snare wire"
In addition to wire for traps to capture birds and animals, it is useful when you want to tie something together. When you want to make a spear by tying a knife you have to a wooden stick, or to fix a trap, etc. If you smash or sharpen it, you can make a substitute for a needle.
"Razor"
It is used when you want to make a small cut on a soft object. For example, it can be used to make incisions during treatment, such as removing thorns or ticks. It is also useful for cutting hair. You can also shave hair when treating a head injury.
"Nylon cord"
It's simply a string. I'm sure you can understand without any explanation that it has many uses.
"Tie wrap (cable tie)"
Although it is a disposable item, it can be used to simply and quickly bundle and hold things together.
"Silicone tube"
A 50cm long elastic tube. As it is tubular, it can be used to pass liquids like a straw, and can also be used as a tourniquet by taking advantage of its contractility.
"LED light"
A small LED light in the shape of a key chain that only lights up when you press it.
