Wild Bird Society of Japan Bird Watching Boots Green Rain Boots

These birdwatching boots are original to the Wild Bird Society of Japan and are suitable for birdwatching, allowing you to move around easily even on tidal flats and in muddy areas. They are lightweight and can be rolled up to fit into a compact storage bag for easy carrying. You can rest assured even on a sudden rainy day. In addition to the black cord lock that comes with them, four other cord locks are also included. Try coordinating them to suit your style and mood of the day. These boots were produced with the cooperation of a rubber boot manufacturer and based on user surveys, so they are easier to move around in and can be worn actively than regular boots. They are sure to be useful not only for birdwatching, but also when gardening or camping outdoors.

Sizing Tips

・These shoes are designed to fit around the ankles when walking on muddy ground, so they may be a little tight to put on and take off. We recommend that you choose a size larger than your usual size. If you choose the exact size, you may find them too tight depending on your body type and the thickness of your socks.

*Heel height is 1.1 to 1.2 cm (the sole is flat), and the fabric thickness is just under 2 mm, common to all sizes.

Precautions for use

・Depending on the condition of the ground, there is a risk of slipping. Please be especially careful when walking on wet surfaces in the rain, as there is a risk of falling.

・The shoes are thin to make them easy to carry. Therefore, they are not suitable for use in reed fields or on sharp rocks. The soles are also thin, so we recommend wearing insoles (sold separately) or thick socks to reduce fatigue when walking on hard asphalt.

To prevent deterioration of the rubber and ensure long life, after use, please remove any dirt, dry in the shade, and store in a dark place.
