At first glance, it is a stylish pendant that shines brightly, but it is also a very practical product. This pendant is a simple but excellent survival item equipped with five functions. The shine is a mirror finish achieved by polishing, not plating. Please see the instructions below to find out why it is made of unplated high carbon steel.

★How to use★

The mini snap hook allows you to attach and remove the chain without removing it.

Number 1: Flint striker

These are the foundational elements of this item. When used in conjunction with a flint and char cloth, they create sparks that allow you to start a fire. The flint has to be high carbon steel, and we went through many trials to get the right carbon content and hardness while still being able to mass produce it.

Number 2: Metal Match Striker

The curved part at the bottom of the pendant is designed to be ideal for the striker of a metal match. This curve is designed to prevent the striker from slipping out of place during the long stroke of the fire maker. The picture shows a scene where the fire maker is being used. It can be used as a striker for any metal match (fire steel).

Part 3: Bow Drill Handpiece

There is a depression in the center of the pendant that can be used as a hold for a bow drill fire starter. This not only reduces the effort required to make your own, but also makes it easier to start a fire as the frictional resistance of the hold is significantly reduced.

Number 4: Signal Mirror

It can be used as a signal mirror to send a distress signal to people far away. There is a hole in the center of the central depression, which allows for accurate targeting. As shown in the picture, place your finger in a V shape between the hole and the target. Fine-tune based on the sunlight hitting your finger so that the light is on a straight line between the pendant, your finger, and the target. If it rusts, its effectiveness will be halved, so don't forget to maintain it daily.

Tip 5: Gut hook

The first thing to do when you catch a prey is to process the innards. To do this, you open the abdomen, but if you damage the internal organs, the filth will damage the meat. With this tool, you can open the abdomen of your prey like a zipper. It can also be used to cut strings.

Since it is made of unplated high carbon steel, it is prone to rust. In order to maintain its shine, we recommend that you clean it thoroughly with a dry cloth after use and, if possible, apply a thin layer of machine oil. Also, when wearing it as a pendant, please carry it outside of your clothes to avoid contact with your skin (sweat) as much as possible.
