★Bush Craft Inc.★
In modern times, it is an outdoor style that allows you to become more one with nature. If you separate the words, you get "bush" and "craft," but when you combine them, the meaning changes to "bushcraft" = wisdom for life. Long before we were born, our ancestors lived in harmony with nature. They had the wisdom to live with the forest. Bushcraft is an "old and new style" that reminds us of that. Bushcraft techniques start with knifework and firemaking.Click here for a list of Bush Craft Inc products

Cast iron products are prone to rust, so be sure to season them (with oil) before use.
■Seasoning (oil conditioning):
1. To remove the anti-rust oil applied at the factory, heat the pot over high heat until it smokes and the surface loses its shine.
② Once the body has cooled down, wash it thoroughly with a scrubbing brush using a mild kitchen detergent. *Do not use metal scrubbing brushes or abrasives as they will scratch the surface. After washing, wipe off the water and put it back on the fire to completely evaporate the water.
③ Turn off the heat and once it has cooled, coat the entire surface with cooking oil. Make sure to coat not only the top, but also the sides and undersides.
④ Add onion, ginger, and other vegetable scraps and fry over high heat. (The oil reacts with the moisture from the vegetables to create an oily layer. This also has the effect of reducing the iron smell.)
5. Remove from heat, remove any vegetable scraps, and coat the entire surface with cooking oil again to complete the seasoning.
■Care after use After use, use hot water to loosen dirt and then scrub it off with a scrubbing brush or similar.
*Do not use metal scouring pads or abrasives as they may damage the surface.
Heat it over a fire to remove any moisture, then spread some cooking oil on it and store it.
■If rust occurs If rust occurs, soak the product in hot water and scrub it off with a scrubbing brush.
If the rust is stubborn, heat the pot over high heat to carbonize the rust, then scrub it off thoroughly with a metal scrubber and season again.
