★Bushcraft SUS Tough Stakes Set of 6 Tent Pegs Recommended Outdoor Camping Bush Craft★
These elegant silver pegs are made of stainless steel, which is strong enough to be used for turbine blades. They are stronger and less prone to rust than forged iron. At least six pegs are required to pitch a Bushcrafters tent.
★Durability test★
We asked a third party to conduct durability tests on SUS Tough Stakes and a 30cm forged peg from a certain company S.
Three-point bending load (lateral force)
A peg was placed on a jig set up with a support distance of 10 cm, and a force was applied to the centre of the peg using a device at a rate of 10 mm per minute, and the maximum load at which deformation or other changes were observed was measured.
・SUS Tough Stake: Deforms at 4430N (approx. 452Kgf)
・A 30cm forged peg from a certain company S deformed under 4090N (approximately 417Kgf)
Vertical load (longitudinal force)
A peg was placed vertically on the compression tester, and a force was applied at a rate of 0.5 mm per minute to measure the maximum load at which deformation was observed. The maximum load of the compression tester is 10,000 N.
・SUS Tough Stake: Will not deform even under 10,000N (approx. 1,019kgf)
・A 30cm forged peg from a certain company S deformed under 9770N (approximately 996kgf)

The test results showed that the SUS Tough Stake is much tougher than forged pegs.
