How to make a handle

■ Find a suitable piece of wood and adjust the size with a knife.

■ Tapered shape allows fine adjustment with a knife

■ Fix it by hammering in the included horseshoe nails.

[Installation] Make a split in the branch beforehand and use the long side of the included horseshoe nail to spread the branch apart. The rectangular nail creates a wedge effect that provides a strong hold.

[Removal] Grasp the head of the nail with pliers or similar and rotate it 90 degrees to loosen the nail, then pull it out. Alternatively, you can hit the tip of the nail with a stone or similar to make it easier to remove.

In addition to the horseshoe nails included with the product, they are also available separately. You can also create a more bushcraft feel by carving local branches with a knife and using them as wooden nails.

What are "wooden pegs" used instead of nails?

As the name suggests, it is a nail made from wood. If you are making it on site with just a knife, it is better to think of it as a wedge rather than a regular wooden nail.

■ Make a wedge out of a twig or piece of wood. It works best if it fits perfectly into the hole in the frying pan.

■ After you have filed the handle, create a crack from the tip. If you file the crack down a little (so that the groove is V-shaped), it will be easier to insert the wedge.

■ Finish by hitting it with the back of a knife handle or a rock. It is so sturdy that it doesn't wobble at all and won't come off even if you swing it around.

Precautions for Use

■Please do not "rapidly heat or cool" the product, as this may cause the center of the product to expand and crack. If the product expands, it may rattle, but this will not affect its use. Please be careful, as once the product expands, it cannot be corrected.

■When preheating, always use medium heat or lower. If heated at maximum heat, the bottom of the unit will deform.

■This product is baked and oiled one by one, so there may be uneven baking or spots on the body. Please note that this does not affect the use of the product. Also, when you open the package, there may be some oil remaining on the body. Please be careful not to stain your hands or clothes.

■Do not apply force in the opposite direction to normal. This may cause damage. (Normal use load up to 3kg)
