Ultra-lightweight tarp developed for ULBH (Ultra Light Bug Proof Hammock)
This is a very thin and lightweight tarp made of 10D Silpoly. It was developed for the Ultralight Bugproof Hammock, but can also be used for normal use.
Backpacking in the mountains and forests, camping near streams and mountainsides. The Ultralight Hammock Tarp was created for bushcrafters with an emphasis on the balance of lightness, price, and hydrolysis resistance. Of course, it is compact when stored and does not take up much space in your backpack. By connecting the hammock's bug net suspension to the loop on the back of the tarp, you can use the bug net comfortably even in rainy weather. In order to achieve a balance between lightness, price, and hydrolysis resistance, the material is ordinary polyester, but we have challenged ourselves to make it as thin as possible, with a 10D ripstop (tear-resistant) finish.
The silicone coating is also water resistant to 1,000mm, which is sufficient for a tarp. Polyester has a smaller stretch rate when wet than nylon. When it is as thin as 10D, nylon stretches more due to the weight of rain and getting wet, and polyester is relatively more resistant to hydrolysis. This product is a tarp for bushcrafters who use it in forested areas. It is not designed for use in open areas such as ridgelines. Please use it in quiet rural areas or forests. *If the product is out of stock, it will take some time to be restocked.
