This virus filter can be used in conjunction with the Jerry Can Water Filter. Dozens of hollow tubes have tiny holes (0.02 microns). The 0.02 micron virus filter acts as a barrier against viruses such as Hepatitis A, Polio, Typhoid, and Enteritis. In addition, in a similar way, it blocks 99.999% of bacteria. Clean water can pass through the holes, but larger contaminants cannot. To clean the hollow fibers, simply rinse clean water in the opposite direction of the water flow. This pushes dirt and debris out of the inlet, extending the life of the filter. It can be attached to the Jerry Can Filter when you need protection from viruses.
