We are only handling models of Spyderco knives manufactured in factories in Japan. Both VG10 and H1 are made of domestic steel, with domestically manufactured blades and assembled in Japan. They are manufactured in Seki City, Gifu Prefecture, the holy land of blades. Therefore, the quality is guaranteed. They are brand new out of the box and have excellent sharpness. For bushcrafters and survivalists, folding knives that cannot be used tough are not reassuring as primary knives. However, if you have a carbon steel knife (e.g. a puukko) or other knife that you need to be careful about rusting as your main knife, you should also have a rust-resistant folder knife as a secondary knife. Even if your main knife is rust-resistant, you may take off the knife on your waist when you settle down at camp. It is at such times that you suddenly need a blade. If you accidentally go into the water with your main knife attached to your waist, it will be covered in rust within the day. To avoid such a mistake, why not try Spyderco? A compact folder made of reliable VG10. It's perfect to keep in your pocket as a sub. VG10 is a great stainless steel that balances corrosion resistance, long-lasting sharpness, and strength. We recommend this to customers who don't like the H1 blade, which is limited to hollow grind. The corrosion resistance is not as amazing as the H1, but it is sufficient for outdoor use. If you still prefer the H1, please consider the H1 version of this knife.
