For bushcrafters and survivalists, folding knives that cannot be used tough are not reassuring as primary knives. It features a durable structure and a design for combat. It uses VG10 steel, which has an excellent balance of corrosion resistance, long-lasting sharpness, and strength. VG10 is a reliable steel material that is also used in Falkniven's survival knives. However, the design has become larger and heavier due to its concept. Spyderco's unique lightweight and compact aspect has been slightly spoiled, but I think that is unavoidable given the concept of a police model. It has durability that can be used as a main knife, but it is designed to be more suitable for uniformed police equipment than for outdoor use. Their gun belts do not accommodate knives, and a baton and a handgun are enough. However, when you need a knife, it is certainly the best knife to quickly take out of your pants pocket, considering its use. The spine is smartly cut for stabbing purposes, and the handle material is made of non-slip and sturdy G10. Since it is relatively large, I think one of its features is that it has a choil so that you can do detailed work when it is unfolded. In addition, while other regular models use a metal plate only for the locking mechanism, the Police model also uses a metal plate on the inside of the handle material, which greatly improves the durability of the hinge part and makes it suitable for tough applications.
