Albatross

Albatrosses have a wingspan of up to 2.4m. They breed on islands in the Pacific Ocean and lay only one egg at a time. It is said that they mate for life. They were once thought to be extinct, but were rediscovered on Torishima Island in the Izu Islands, and conservation efforts are ongoing.
